Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Upgrades to Full StaffRight Product Suite

Ottawa-based Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) has agreed to implement Loki's full StaffRight® product suite as part of a new business process initiative aimed at increasing employee satisfaction and enhancing business decision making. A long-time Loki customer, CHEO is upgrading to the full StaffRight product suite in order to streamline scheduling and payroll processes, improve access to human resource information, and offer self-service capabilities to its employees.
One of the largest children's hospitals in Canada, CHEO admitted over 6,000 patients last year and served over 130,000 outpatients in its 63 clinics. Its 2,600 employees operate in a unionized and non-unionized environment.
"We have been using Loki's StaffRight and StaffPay systems since 1995 with such success that it is core to our operations throughout the hospital," said Susan Richardson, Vice President Patient Services with CHEO. "As a result we will be implementing more of Loki's applications across the entire organization, particularly the Employee Self Service and Schedule Management modules. We anticipate that these will further improve CHEO nursing staff retention and satisfaction."

An improved staffing and scheduling system, along with employee self-service capabilities, will enhance the recruitment and retention initiatives as well as overall employee satisfaction.
